Private Doula Mentorship
Are you a new birthworker? In the process of finding a training that aligns with your values, or having just finished a training? Or, perhaps, you’ve been practicing for a while and simply want to change the direction of your work.
I offer individualized, private doula mentorship with birthworkers at various stages of their careers. I like to work with my mentees to help them figure out what they want work on together, and I have a particular affinity for helping folks streamline their behind-the-scenes administrative work. Among other things, I can assist my mentees with:

*Some opportunities can take place in person if we are local to one another, and some elements might look a little different whether we are local to one another or not.
Lara is currently offering a limited number of fully funded mentorship spots for doulas in the Hamilton area who want to support queer and trans folks. Please fill out this form to express interest.
Working with me as your mentor is a three-month minimum commitment* and includes:
2 Zoom meetings per month* (2 hours each)
One pre-planned “teaching session” where we cover specific predetermined topics
One session centred on your current needs
Access to me via text & email
Opportunity to shadow* (If client consents, alternatively, we will go through some client case studies together)
Access to my lending library*
Access to curated resource lists
Optional purchase of my childbirth education materials
AND continuous emotional & informational support along this journey. I will be the doula’s doula!
In addition to all of the above, you get to pick my brain about how the process of setting up my business in a sustainable manner has worked for me. I will share with you what hasn’t helped, and what has. Whether you want to focus in on a specific element of birthwork or look at a bit of all of it, we can work together to get you where you want to be.

Financial commitment: $250-$400 per month, minimum commitment of 3 months.
1st Tier - $250/month + tx
2nd Tier - $325/month + tx
3rd Tier - $400/month + tx
